The God of More Than Enough

R Rev. Dr. Sam Edem October 2, 2026 2 min read

Key Scripture:

Ephesians 3:20 (KJV) — “Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us.”

Our God is not limited by human limitations. He is the God who is able to do exceedingly abundantly above all that we can ask or imagine. His sufficiency is greater than our insufficiency, and His resources are greater than our needs. Supernatural enlargement begins with recognizing that our confidence must rest in God's ability rather than our own strength. Psalm 23:1; 2 Corinthians 9:8; Philippians 4:19

However, believing that God is more than enough does not mean that we will receive everything we desire. God's provision operates according to His wisdom, purpose and will. His abundance is ultimately directed toward His glory and our participation in His purposes. Like the five loaves and two fish, what appears insufficient in our hands can become sufficient when surrendered to God. Matthew 14:17–20; John 6:35; James 1:17

Therefore, refuse to approach today with a mentality of scarcity and defeat. Give God what you have, trust Him with what you cannot control, and remain faithful with what He has already entrusted to you. The God who is more than enough can enlarge your capacity, supply your needs and make your life fruitful for His Kingdom. Deuteronomy 8:18; Psalm 84:11; 2 Corinthians 9:10–11 As you walk with Him, may you experience His sufficient grace and become a channel through which His goodness reaches others.

Prophetic Declarations

  2. God's grace is sufficient for me, and I will not lack what He has ordained.
